El Mokhtar Nait el Cadi, the coordinator of the TIMZDAY Association had participated in an international meeting of the Euro-Mediteerranean region and he wanted to share with us his experience:

This was my first travel to other arabic country and it was simply GREAT!
The topic of the meeting was the Citizen Participation, identity and cultural diversity en the Euro-Mediterranean region and there were 41 participants.

OUR YP2OF PROJECT
I´ve presented our YP2OF project and our experience that we share together, in our case for the 4th year already. Our project was welcomed so well that almost all participants wanted to know more about it to imitate our workking methodology and even to participate directly with us. I really felt proud of us, our project and the whole team!

TRAINING IN MOROCCO
I talked to the director of ANNA LINDH Foundation about us willing to apply for a training within the YP2OF project. She was delighted by the idea and said to me we make a good chance to get funds. So if everything will go well we will meet each other in Morocco in April. (We will apply for 1th February deadline)

SITUATION IN EGYPT
During my stay in Egypt everything was as much as normal. I havn´t seen any conflicts, manifestations, violence. I did not feel I was in a Country were there is a revolution. It is true we worked a lot and we had not a lot of time for visits. My experience is that Egypt is safe to visit, the peole warm and gentle, respectful and they are lots of Egiptians!!! The revoluntion seems to be more on the television than on the streets.
